Gold and Silver Updates

On the Multi Commodity Alternate, gold contracts for August traded larger by Rs 142, or 0.31 per cent, to Rs 46,243 per 10 gram in a enterprise turnover of 13,592 heaps. The yellow steel for October supply edged up by Rs 94, or 0.2 per cent, to Rs 46,374 per 10 gram in a enterprise turnover of 5,457 heaps.

Recent positions constructed up by members primarily led to the rise in gold costs, analysts stated. Gold costs traded larger by 0.14 per cent at USD 1,707.50 per ounce in New York.
